Start cutting closest to you and work up as you test the fitment it's ideal to maintain some pressure between the plastic and the bracket or it'll start to sag.Ħ.) If you find tightening the bolts puts more pressure between the top and chassis than you're comfortable with, you can use flat washers as shims if you don't want to bend the brackets. I attached pics of the driver side for reference, I used a small Dremel cutting wheel.

A few things to note before you purchase Rogue Motorsport hardtop brackets, if you aren't trying to gut your interior and install a roll cage:ġ.) The Rogue side brackets only work if you completely remove the crossbar (the whole assembly behind the seats that holds the seatbelts and compartments).Ģ.) As you may already know, if you want to keep the crossbar, you have to saw off the pivoting arms that attach the soft top to it.ģ.) The VIS side brackets however, attach to the inner bolts of the pivot joint, so you can keep the crossbar with just some minor notching of the corner panels that the seatbelts run through.Ĥ.) Some roll bars occupy that position already - if you have one of these, well, you no longer have one.ĥ.) The TOP brackets require you to notch out the plastic next to the striker.
